Start / Alpha

  • Start!

    Start! is a basic 6-session introduction to the Christian faith for use in small groups. The sessions assume no previous knowledge of anything Christian. They use a mix of DVD input, time to chat, simple discussion activities and space for reflection. All this in a style that is down-to-earth, honest and which aims to be enjoyable too.

  • Alpha

    Alpha provides an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over 10 thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away.

Who we are and how we work...

  • John and Rachel McDonough

    John and Rachel both have a real heart for the young people of today. They are both trained in the sphere of youth and their experiences abroad have developed in them a passion for the South American culture. In March 2010 they moved to work at 2 churches in Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras.

  • Our patron, the Church Pastoral Aid Society

    Our patron, the Church Pastoral Aid Society (SPAS) is an Anglican evangelical mission agency. Its mission is to develop men, women and young people with leadership roles and responsibilities in churches across the UK and Republic of Ireland. CPAS enables churches to help every person hear and discover the good news of Jesus Christ, developing effective leaders at all levels.

It has become a large network of Church leaders, and leaders of associated ministries, across the denominations and traditions. One Voice organises events and ministries in the city.

  • Spring Harvest - Equipping the Church for Action

    Spring Harvest - Equipping the Church for Action is an inter-denominational Christian organisation which provides a range of events, conferences, courses and resources. The main event is a conference which takes place over Easter.

    It's for people of all ages and church backgrounds and features inspirational Bible teaching, seminars, and spirit-filled worship. It's about one thing: deepening your walk with God, so that you return home inspired to impact your community and your friends, for Jesus.
